Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ٢٤ صفر ١٢٤٦١٤ أغسطس ١٨٣٠ نمرة ١٧٧صفحة ٣ حوادث الديوان الخديوى وردت تذكرة من البيك الضابط ان مباركه القاطنة فى درب المصطفى بينها وبين ستيته دعوى فلذا ارسلهما الى الديوان مع احمد احد انفار قوللق الموسكى فسئلت مباركه فقالت انا ساكنة مع ستيته هذه فى منزل واحد وانه فى هذه الليلة سرق منى عنترى وثلاثة صدريات جوخا وستة قمصان وسروال وعرى ولباس وصديرى اخر وان لى اشيا اخرى فلم يسرق الا الذى ذكرته وحيث ظنيت السرقة بهذه المرأة اخذتها الى البيك الضابط وهو ارسلنا الى هنا فقيل لها فى اى محل كانت تلك الأشيا[ء] فقالت كانت فى محلى ووضعتها على الحبل فسئلت ستيته فقالت انا اخدم هنا وهناك واتعيش بذلك مع بنت لى صغيرة وانه هذا اليوم اذا كنت نازلة كعادتى وجدت على السلم بعض اشيا لهذه المرأة فرفعتها وسلمتها اليها فمسكت بى وهى تقول حوايجى عندك فسئل حسن البصاص حيث كان حضرا فقال انا ذهبت الى منزلهما فرأيت الباب البرانى مخلعا ولاضبة له ففتشت فى اودة ستيته ولم ار شيأ فمن حيث ان ستيته لها عادة على امر مثل هذا ولم يظهرعلامة تدل على ذلك احيلت دعواهما الى الشرع الشريف.
