Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ٧ رمضان ١٢٤٥٢ مارس ١٨٣٠نمرة ١١٧ صفحة ٣-٤ حوادث الديوان الخديوى كرابت الخياط الرومى الساكن فى الوكالة التى فى روميله ورفيق له يسمىكرابت ايضا واخر يسمى ويزو ويناكو من قبرص والحاج خليل احد بصاصى القصابخانه وامراته جوهره جزا فى اليوم الثانى والعشرين من شهر رجب الى الديوان الخديوى بمعرفة باش اغا فقال كرابت الخياط انى كنت ساكنا مع كرابت رفيقى فى اوضة فى وكالة روميله وان ويزو ساكن فى اوضة تحاذيها ويناكو ساكن فى اوضة عليا وخليلا ساكنا فى اوضة تحاذى اوضتنا فذهبت انا ورفيقى يوم السبت الى مصر العتيقة وقت المغرب ورجعنا فى اليوم الثانى صباحا وقعدت انا فى القهوة التى تحت اوضتنا وطلع رفيقى الى الاوضة فوجدها مفتوحة فأخبرنى فخرجت وصعدت اليها فرأيت قد فقد منها ثلاث كسوات كنت اخذتها لاخيطها فسألت جيرانى عن ذلك فقالوا ليس لنا بذلك من علم تعرضت ذلك لباش اغا وهو ارسلنا الى هنا فقيل له هل للوكالة بواب فقال انا اخذت المفتاح من امرأة خليل فقيل بمن تظن فقال ظنى فى ويزو القبرسى وبأمراة خليل فسئل القبرسى فقال اتى يناكو ليلة الاحد الى اوضتى واقام حتى الساعة الرابعة ثم قام وذهب الى اوضته فنمت انا ونزلنا صباحا الى القهوة وكانت غير مفتوحة فنادينا صاحب القهوة من بيته وشربنا قهوة ثم ذهبنا الى دكان الفطورجى واكلنا عنده فطيرا وذهب يناكو الى محله ورجعت انا الى محله وجلست فيه قليلا وذهبت الى دكانسيمو الخياط فى سوق السلاح وبعد ان رجعت الى اوضتى سمعت هذا الخبر فسئل الاسطا يناكو فقال لما رجعت من دكان الفطورجى اتيت الى القهوة فلقيت عثمان احد صناع كرابت فذهب به الى الحمام ورجعت وليس لى علم من ذلك فسئل خليل فقال انا اذهب فى النهار الى شغلى وارجع وقت المغرب فما لى بذلك علم فسئلت امراة خليل فقالت بعد ان اتى زوجى من عند محمد اغا مأمورالقليوبية سكنا فى هذا المحل فسلمت الينا مفاتيح الاوض ولم يكن وقتئذ احد فكان اذا طلب احد منا مفتاح اوضة تعطيه فعرض ذلك الى الافندى مأمور الديوان الخديوى فقال ان يناكو ارسل قبل هذا منفيا الى بلاد الروم والان فلم يثبت على غيره شئ فان احيلت هذه الدعوى الى الشرع يكون ذلك اولى من ان يحبسوا وانما ينبغى ان تخرج المراة من الوكالة التى فيها عذابه لان ذلك لا يناسب فلذا عمل بموجب امره.
