Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ٦ رمضان ١٢٤٥ ١ مارس ١٨٣٠ نمرة ١١٦ صفحة ٢ حوادث الديوان الخديوى حضر فى الديوان الخديوى الشيخ محمد التمعيى منجامع الازهر وحسين شعبان من وكالة الفحامين وابراهيم البصاص تابع باش اغا فقال الشيخ محمد ان لى اوضة فى وكالة الفحامين ولى فيها ثلث صحارات ملاى كثبا وصحارة اخرى فيها حوايجى وقرص ذهب كان موضوعا فى كيس والف وسبعمائة قرش وزيادة وكنت فى النهار امكث فى الاوضة وفى الليل اعود الى بيتى وقبل ذلك بعشرة ايام مضيت صباحا الى الاوضة فوجدت الباب مفتوحا والدراهم مفقودة فأخبرت محمد شيخ الفحامينبذلك واخذته واتيت به الى الاوضةفراين اثار ما على العتبة والحال ان المفتاح معى ولم يكن فيها اثر ما فخطر وقتئذ فى خاطرنا كلينا ان ذلك جرى من البواب لان الاوضة فتحت بعض اوقات من غير مفتاح ثم انا اخبرنا باش اغا بذلك فأرسل بصاصا وكشف وارسلنا جميعنا الى هنا فسئل حسين البواب عن ذلك فقال ان الشيخ محمد اقص هذه القصة فى الميدان يوم راى ذلك واما الباب فافتح ولا كسرت ضبته بل راى الما فى العتبة فقط وليس لى بذلك من علم فقيل له هل اتى احد غريب فقال لا ولو كان حصل ذلك لعلم الحاضرون به فسئل الحاج محمد هل ذهبت انت يوم فتحت الاوضة ورايت انه ليس امارة الفتح فى بابها فقال القفل شغل الغرب وغير صاحب الاوضة لا يقدر احد على فتحها وحسين المذكور مقيم فى الوكالة المذكورة بوابا منذ ثلاثين سنة ولم يراحد منه شيئا رديا فسئل البصاص عن ذلك فقال ليس الفعل فعل سارق ولو قال جميعهم كذا وانما صاحب الدراهم يظن ان ذلك جرى من البواب فحيث ذلك يقتضى ان يحصل للبواب ضيق فيقر فلذا حبس ثم حضر الشيخ عبد الرحمن الطوير والشيخ محمد تميمى الى الديوان الخديوى واراد ان يطلق سبيل البواب واستصوبا ان يفتشا هما عمن فعل ذلك بالاستفحاس فعرض ذلك الى الافندى مأمور الديوان الخديوى فقال من حيث ان صاحب الدعوى راض بذلك وطلب ان يطبق سبيل البواب فينبغى ان يطلق سبيله وتم الامر عل هذا المنوال.
