Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ١١ شعبان ١٢٤٥ ٥ فبراير١٨٣٠ نمرة ١٠٧ صفحة ١ جرنال معاون المحروسة فى اليوم العشرين من شهر رجب الفرد مضمونه ان امراة تسمى نصره ساكنة فى حارة حوش قدم فى ثمن الجمليه والحاج منصور الخباز جاء الى الديوان الخديوى بمعرفة باش اغا فقالت نصره ان نصف البيت الذى انا ساكنة فيه لمنصور المرقوم ولما كان مولد السيدة زينب يوم الثلاث قفلت باب البيت وسلمت مفتاحه الى منصور وذهبت الى المولد ولما رجعت وجدته وابنه فى البيت فاخذت منه المفتاح وطلعت مع ابنه الى اوضتى فوجدت صندوقى مفتوحا ورايت ما كان فيه خارجا عنه وكان لى به اسورة وسبعة خواتم ذهبا وسبعة نحاسا وثلاثون قرشا ونصف قرش فقدتها وسألت هذا الخباز عن ذلك فقال لا علم لى فذهب به الى باش اغا والمومى اليه ارسلنى الى هنا فسئل المرقوم عن ذلك فقال نعم انها اعطتنى المفتاح وذهبت الى المولد وانما لزم لى حاجة من البيت فوجدت الباب مقفولا من داخل فاتيت بنجار وفتح الباب فدخلت واخذت ما كان لازما لى من محلى ثم خرجت منه فجاءت هذه المراة وطلبت منى المفتاح ودخلت الى منزلها ثم خرجت تقول ذلك فقيل له ما اسم النجار قال الا ادرى وقيل له هل تعرف مكانه قال لا فقال البصاص انا هبت لاجل كشف بيت الحرمه وكان محمد جوهر شيخ الثمن وبهلوان تابع باش اغا حاضرين فكشفناه ولم نجد به علامة تدل على انه فتح فسألنا منصورا عن ذلك فقال وقتئذ كما قال الان وبحثنا عن النجار فلم نجده وارانا دكانا فيه ولدان وقال انه دكانه فلما عرض ذلك الى الافندى مأمور الديوان الخديوى امر ان بان يوبخ ويعاقب واذ عوقب قال ان اتى بالنجار فاعطى له اجازة ولما لم يجده حبس.
