Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ١٤ جمادى الاخر ١٢٤٧٢٠ نوفمبر ١٨٣١ نمرة ٣١٨صفحة ٢ حوادث الديوان الخديوى فى اليوم الرابع والعشرين من شهر ربيع الاخر وردت صحيفة من معاون البيك الضابط مضمونها ان رجلا من سكان الرميلة اسمه احمد واخر اسمه على جرت بينهما دعوى فلذا ارسلهما الى الديوان الخديوى مع رجل من جماعة قللق الموسكى اسمه سليمان فسئل احمد عن هذه الدعوى فقال انا من قرية ابى المشط التى فى المنوفية وانى جئت مصر منذ خمسة عشرة سنة وسكنت فى الرميلة وصرت اخدم ثم تركت الخدمة منذ سنتين واخذت فى بيع الدريس وان عليا هذا زوج اختى وهو ساكن فى الصليبة وانه جاء بيتى بالامس واخذ منه خمسمائة وخمسين قرشا كنت قد اخذت بعضها من رجل اسمه ابراهيم الدالى وبعضها من رجل مقيم فى الرميلة ولما رجعت الى بيتى فتشت على الدراهم فلم اجدها فسالته عنها فانكر اخذها فقبضت عليه وجئت به هنا فقيل له من اى صنف دراهمك فقال مائة قرش من الخمسات وثمانى خيريات واحدى عشرة سعدية وباقيها قروش فسئل على فقال نعم انا زوج اخت المدعى وانى مستاجر منه حمارا وقد جئت بيته امس عشاء ولكنى لم ار دراهمه فضيق عليه ولم تبد منه نتيجة فاحيلت دعواهما على حاكم الشرع الشريف.
