Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ٤ رجب الاصم ١٢٤٦١٩ ديسمبر ١٨٣٠ نمرة ٢٢٣صفحة ٣ حوادث الديوان الخديوى نفيسه ابنة الشيخ حسين احد ساكنى بولاق قدمت عرض حال الى الديوان الخديوى فى اليوم الثامن والعشرين من جمادى الاولى مضمونه ان محمد اغا الاسلامبولى لما كان ناظرا على انشاء سرايا افندينا اسمعيل باشا المرحوم سرق الاخشاب الميرية باجمعها واتى بها الى منزلها وجعلها صفوفا متراكمة ثم دعا بنجارى الميرى فصنعوا له منها كراسى وصناديق وما بقى نقله الى منزله الكائن بحارة سوق العصر وصفه فيه فلما علم ذلك لزم ان يبحث عن حقيقة الامر فارسل عبد الغفور اغا قاوش اغاسى الديوان ومحمد قاويش القبرسى والشيخ ابراهيم كاتب التذاكر مع المراة الى ذلك المنزل وكشفوا فلم يجدوا شيا من الاخشاب مصفوفا كما اخبرت فبحث عن الحقيقه فتبين ان المرأة كانت زوجة للرجل المذكور ولما ن ان طلقها قدمت هذا العرض نكالا عليه فاطلق كل من الرجل والمرأة وخلى سبيلهما.
