Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ٢٦ جمادى الاخر ١٢٤٦١٢ ديسمبر ١٨٣٠ نمرة ٢٢٠صفحة ٤ حوادث مجلس الاسكندرية مصطفى افندى ناظر الاخشاب فى الاسكندرية قرر انه ارسل اليه امين افندى ناظر الابنية بانه يلزم للابنية الميرية ثلاثة الف لوح من الواح البندق فبحث عنها فوجدت عند محمد قلفاط التاجر فينبغى ان يحضر وتعطى صورة حسنه لفصل الثمن معه فاحضر وسئل واستقر الرأى على ان يؤخذ منه كل لوح بمائة وستة عشر نصفا فضة فرضى بهذا الثمن وحرر علم من طرف حضرة بيك افندى المحافظ الى الافندى المومى اليه لاجل مشترى القدر المرقوم وحرر علم ثان الى شكرى افندى ناظر تسليمات المشتريات لاجل تسلمه وتسليمه لمحله واخذ رجعته وتقييده بديوان العموم وتقديم علمه الى المجلس كما استقر الرأى على ذلك.
