Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ١٧ صفر ١٢٤٦٧ أغسطس ١٨٣٠ نمرة ١٧٤صفحة ٤ حوادث مجلس المشورة قد حصل الانس والامان ورفاهية الحال والاطمئنان فى زمن افندينا ولى النعم المعظم وذلك بوضع القوللقات داخل المحروسة بجميع المحطات فبادر سكانها بتأدية الدعا لدوام دولته وازدياد صولته واذ حصل ولله الحمد فى مصرنا هذا النظام الباهر فى كامل الامور لزم لتتميم زينتها تنظيف الازقة والاسواق اذ هو امر يجب الاهتمام به اولا لتكميل بهجتها وثانيا لرفع الشك والاشتباه من حصول العلل المتنوعة والامراض المختلفة التى تحدث من الاوخام وهذا معلوم عند اهل الحذق والتدقيق فينبغى عند صبيحة كل يوم ان كلا من اهل الاسواق يكنس ويرش جهة دكانه وان القاطنين بالمنازل يكنسون جهة بيوتهم ويرشونها واما الاشخاص الذين يقفون بالمحلات المنحرفة و العطف غير النافذة ويقذرونها ويلوثونها فيجب على من يدور من طرف ميرآلاى المحروسة انه اذا صادف اناسا منهم يضربهم ضربا خفيفا وينهاهم ان يعودوا ويفعلوا امرا مثل هذا والقوللقات ايضا اذا رأوا شيأ مثل هذا يزجرون فاعله ويمنعونه وكل من اصحاب البيوت والدكاكين يوم لا ينظف اما مكانه يحصل له التأديب ولاجل هذه النظافة الكلية يحتاج اولا التنبيه والتأكيد من طرف الديوان الخديوى على مشايخ الاثمان وبعد ذلك تحصل المناداه فى الازقة والشوارع لاجل الاعلان اذ السعى فى تحصيل اسباب النظافة يؤدى الى خير جزيل فلما بان ذلك بالمناسبة لمجلس المشورة قالوا انه يجب التنظيم حسبما هو مشروح وكذلك المحلات التى فيها ورشات الميرى يحتاج التنبيه والتأكيد من نظارها بالكنس والرش وكذلك المحلات الخربه الكائنة بالحارات يرشها سقا الحارة وتعطى له اجرته من مقتدرى اهل الحارة واما الارض القريبة الى القلعة فيكون تنظيفها ورشها بمعرفة سقاباشى القلعة وكذلك رش فسحات تعليم العسكر المنصور فلاجل ذلك يجب التحرير من الديوان الخديوى الى نظار الدواوين والمحافظين بالمحروسة عثمان بيك واسماعيل بيك اشعارا لهم كما استقر عليه رأى ارباب المجلس تحريرا فى اليوم الثانى من صفر الخير.
