Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ١٤ صفر ١٢٩٩ ٤ يناير ١٨٨٢ نمرة ١٢٩٩ صفحة ٤ نص اعلان وارد من نظارة المعارف العمومية قطعة أرض تعرف بنمرة ٧ بجهة الأزبكية موقعها جهة شرق على الشارع المستجد بالأراضى المباعة من ديوان المعارف بجهة الأزبكية محصورة بين شارعى محمد على وعبد العزيز وحدود هذه القطعة المذكورة من جهة غرب للقطعة نمرة ٨ ومن الجهة البحرية القطعة نمرة ٢٣ والقبلية القطعة نمرة ٥ ومسطحها ر٤٧٧ متر حيث اقتضى الحال بيع هذه القطعة التي فى ملك المكاتب الاهلية المعروفة نمرة ٧ المبين حدودها أعلاه التى هى من الأراضى الكائنة بجهة الأزبكية المحصورة بين شارعى محمد على وعبد العزيز فقد صار عمل قائمة مزاد عن القطعة المذكورة وتحدد لها ميعاد لحضور الراغبين مقداره ٣٠ يوما غايتها يوم الاحد الموافق ٢ ربيع الاول سنة ١٢٩٩ الموافق ٢٢ يناير سنة ٨٢ فيقتضى ان كل من له رغبة في مشتراها يحضر لديوان المعارف ويطلع على قائمة المزاد والشروط الواضحة بها ورسمها أيضا وبنهاية الميعاد المذكور حضور الراغبين فى يوم الأحد المذكور يجرى عمل مزاد من الساعة ٤ عربى لغاية الساعة ٧ من اليوم المحكى عنه ويرسى المزاد على واحد معين فيكون ملزوما بدفع عشرة في المائة حالا تأمينا بحيث يكون الديوان مخيرا في المبيع حسب ما يرى وعدمه ومن يتأخر عن الحضور في وقت عمل المزاد فلا يقبل منه عطا واستيلاء الثمن يكون على حسب المقاس الذى يحصل وقت الاستلام وجميع ما يلزم من دلاله وميرى ورسم حجج وخلافه يكون على المشترى وقد تحرر هذا لمعلومية الجميع. تحريرا فى محرم سنة ١٢٩٩
