Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ١٩ محرم ١٢٩٩ ١١ دسمبر ١٨٨١نمرة ١٢٧٨صفحة ٤ نص اعلان وارد من نظارة الاشغال العموميه عدد أقه ٠٣٧٥ ٠٠٠٠ ١٥٨٣ س ٦٩٧١ ١٩٥٨ س ٦٩٧١ ديوان الاشغال العموميه يتشهر بالمزاد مشترى الاصناف الموضحه أعلاه لزوم مصلحة الانجراريه على مقتضى شروطات موجوده بقلم سكرتارية الهندسة العربى بالديوان وقد تحدد ميعاد لنهو المزاد المذكور يوم الخميس 15 دسمبر سنة 1881 الموافق 23 محرم سنة 99 وقبول العطا يكون داخل مظاريف فى الساعة اثنين افرنكى بعد الظهر من اليوم المذكور فكل من له رغبة فى توريد ذلك فليحضر للديوان بالقلم المذكور لاطلاعه على الشروطات كل يوم من الساعة احدى عشر لغاية الساعة ثلاثة افرنكى بعد الظهر والذى لا يحضر فى الميعاد المحدد لنهو المزاد لا يكلف الديوان بانتظاره ولا يقبل منه عطا فيما بعد.
