Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ١٩ ربيع الثانى ١٢٩٨ ١٩ مارث ١٨٨١ نمرة ١٠٦٥ صفحة ٣ من مجلس استئناف مصر ادعت خديجة بنت عبد الباقى انها استودعت عند اخيها ابراهيم عبد الباقى حجة نصف منزل تمتلكه بخط بولاق ولما طلبتها منه توقف أولا ثم ادعى انها باعت اليه نصف هذا المنزل بعشرين جنيها نقدها اليها بعد تسجيل العقد بالمحكمة المختلطة بحضور أربعة شهود ولكن عدل أخيرا عن ذلك وقال ان الذى شهد البيع واحد منهم فقط وقد أجاب اثنان من هؤلاء البينه بعدم علمهما بالبيع المدعى به المذكور وقال ثالثهم يوسف محمد المراكبى ان المراة اعترفت بالبيع الى أخيها المدعى بحضوره مع شخص آخر ولكنه لم يتوجه الى المحكمة لاداء هذه الشهادة ولم يصادقه الشخص الآخر الذى ادعى انه كان حضرا معه وقت الاعتراف فضلا عن اعتراف الشخصين اللذين شهدا فى المحكمة بالبيع بعدم معرفتهما المرأة البائعة فلهذا حكم المجلس على ابراهيم عبد الباقى بالليمان سنة ونصفا وعلى كل من الشخصين اللذين شهدا فى المحكمة بالبيع زورا كاعترافهما بالليمان سنة واحدة.
