Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ٨ ذى القعدة ١٢٨٩ ٧ يناير ١٨٧٣ نمرة ٤٨٩ صفحة ٤ صورة من اعلان وارد من حضرة وكيل عموم الأوقاف بتاريخ ٢ ذا سنة ٨٩ عدد ١ قطعة أرض من ضمن خربة كائنة بـشارع باب الوزير وقف ايتمش النجاشى نظارة السيد درويش شليق مسطحها اذرع ٢٥٦ مقتضى خروجها من الوقف بالأستبدال فيقتضى كل من له رغبة فبعد معاينته اياها يتوجه لطرف معاون قسم ثالث اوقاف ويوضح مزاده بما يرغبه في قائمة اشهار استبدالها. بما انه تجوز شرعا باستبدال القطعة قطعة الأرض الموضح عنها بعاليه وتحرر عنها فى تاريخه لمعاون قسم ثالث عن اشهارها بقائمة مزاد وصار درجها بخمسة وثلاثين اعلان ارسلو الى ضبطية مصر بافادة في تاريخه لوضعهم على القره قولات لمعلومية الجميع حتى كل من كان يرغب لاخذ ذلك يتوجه لطرف معاون القسم ويعطي مزاده بما يرغبه واقتضى تحريره بما ذكر للمعلومية ودرج ذلك بالوقايع كما الجاري.
