Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ١٤ ربيع الأول ١٢٤٨١١ اغسطس ١٨٣٢ نمرة ٤١٦صفحة ٣ حوادث مجلس الجهادية حسين بيك امير الالاى مفتش الروزنامه وناظر المهمات الحربيه قرر انه قد استقر الرأى بالمجلس فى السنة الماضية على ان تنشا زيبة الفحم التى ببولاق وبناء على ذلك القى اساسها ورفعت حيطانها طول رجل ولنحو اربعة اشهر ترك تعميمها وان فى هذه الايام بسبب زيادة النيل ميجئ فحم الحجر والفحم الرومى كثيرا فينبغى ان تعمل الهمة فى اتمامها ومن حيث ان بجوارها محلا طوله اثنتان وثلاثون خطوة وعرضه ثمانى عشرة خطوة فيه فحم للتجار والواح مركب فاسد لمحمد كتخدا ملتزم الجلد وقد نبه فيما سبق على اصحاب الفحم برفعه ورفع ولم يبق الا قطع الالواح وكان قد عرف برفعها الكتخدا المومى اليه مرة مشافهة واخرى بخلاصة من المجلس ومرتين بتذكرة ولم يرفعها الى الان ينبغى ان يحرر اعلام للكتخدا المومى اليه اشعارا بالتاكيد فى رفع ما ذكر ويلحق المحل المذكور بالزريبة حيث كان الفحم وما عداه من سائر اللوازم الوارده من الاسكندرية يلزم حفظها ويعجل اتمام ذلك باجتهاد ويعرف بما ذكر حضرة الافندى ناظر الابنية هذا ما قرر فقال اهل المجلس حيث كان ما انهاه المومى اليه فى محله ينبغى ان يحرر اعلام من طرف حضرة بيك افندى ناظر الجهادية الى كل من الكتخدا والافندى ناظر الابنية اشعارا لهما بان يجريا ذلك على الوجه المحرر كما استقر الراى عليه فى اليوم الخامس من شهر ربيع الاول.
