Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ٣٠ شعبان ١٢٤٧٤ فبراير١٨٣٢ نمرة ٣٤٧صفحة ٤ حوادث مجلس مصر سدنة مقام حضرة السيده نفيسه رضى الله تعالى عنها قدموا عرضا للديوان الخديوى واحيل على مجلس المشورة مضمونه ان الاسوار الممتدة من باب السيدة سكينة الى باب السيدة نفيسه قد انهدمت واتصل ذلك الى ضريح حضرة الامام الشافعى رضى الله عنه واستدعوا بان تبنى فكشف عنها بمعرفة الافندى ناظر الابنية وتبين من تقرير قدمه ان مصروف بنائها يبلغ عشرة الاف وثمانمائة قرش هذا اذا بنيت بالطين والجير والرماد واما اذا بنيت بتراب وطليت بالجص والجير فانه يبلغ ثمانية الاف وثلاثمائة قرش لا غير فقال اهل المجلس ان بناء الاسوار المذكورة موجب لحفظ المملكة وسعة الطريق السلطانى وهو من الاثار الخيرية التى يفعلها سعادة افندينا ولى النعم فبناء على ذلك ينبغى ان يحرر علم من الديوان الخديوى الى الافندى ناظر الابنية بان يشرع فى انشائها بالمبلغ المذكور اولا لكى تكون محكمة وتمكث فى ساحة البقاء زمنا طويلا كما استقر الراى على هذا فى اليوم التاسع من شهر شعبان المكرم.
