Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ١٨ ذى القعدة ١٢٤٥ ١١ مايو ١٨٣٠ نمرة ١٤٤ صفحة ٤ حوادث مجلس المشورة سليمان اغا قبوجيلر بلوك باشيسى وناظرقنطرةخليج الزعفران ارسل تقريرا الى مجلس المشورة مضمونه انه طلب من محمد اغا ناظر الجير جيرا وحجرا من صنف الدستور لاجل تصليح القنطرة المذكورة ولم يرسل اليه حتى الان والحال انه لم يبادر بارساله سريعا يتأخر تصليحهما وان لم تتم قبل فيضان النيل تتعطل كل التعطيل فسئل محمد اغا عن ذلك فقال ان الحطب والتبن الموجود عندى الان قليل والجير المشروع باحراقه الان لا يكفى لاشغال المحروسة وان سليمان اغا كان فى مدة اقامته مأمورا على انشاقنطرةزقازيق ياخذ الحطب من المأمورية ويحرق الجير ويتمم اشغال القنطرة ولدى المذاكرة قالوا ينبغى لـسليمان اغا ان يجمع حطبا ويحرق جيرا ويبادر بانشا القنطرة سريعا لكيلا يحصل عطل من تأخير انشائها ويحرر امر من الديوان الخديوى الى الناظر المومى اليه والى حسن افندى وراتب افندى مأمورى الشرقية لكى يهتموا جميعا بتهئ الحطب اللازم لحرق الجير كما استقر الراى على ذلك فى غرة ذى القعدة .
