Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ٦ جماذ الاخر ١٢٤٥ ٣ ديسمبر ١٨٢٩ نمرة ٩٠ صفحة ٣ سليم اغا ناظر انشا انشاء قناطر الخليج الزعفرانى التى تعلقت الارادة الخديوية بجرياتها ما بين مصر وبولاق صيفا وشتا منتهية الى قرى الشرقية وراس الوادى قدم تقريرا الى مجلس المشورة مضمونه انه يلزم لانشا[ء] القنطرة التى فى قرب قرية صنف الحنا فى الشرقية على موجب قائمة مختومة من السيد احمد بارودى الريس المهندس فى الشرقية خمسة الاف حجر دستورا منحوتا مربعا ومثلثا وثلاثة الاف بلاطة منحوتة مربعا ومستطيلا لاجل الفرش وستون الفا قنطارا من حجر الدبش لبنائها ومايتان وخمسون خشبة من الخشب المعبر عنه بالسهم الاحمر وعشرون خشبة من صنف السهم الكامل لاساسها وجدارها وتوقف نقل تلك الحجارة من جبل طرة المعصرة الى ترعة الزقازيق على عشرين عقبة ومن ترعة زقازيق الى قرية صنف الحنا حيث تنشا القنطرة على عشرين مركبا كل منها يسع اربعين اردبا غلة وايضا اخراج تلك الحجارة من المراكب يلزم ان يخصص له ماية وعشرون فاعلا من وادى الشرقية ونقل حجارة صنف الدستور من المراكب الكبار الى الصغار يحتاج الى ستة عشر عتلا ولدى المذاكرة قالوا ان انشا تلك القناطر مطلوب والسعى فى اتمامها سريعا مرغوب فمن حيث ذلك ينبغى ان يحرر امر من الديوان الخديوى الى خليل افندى ناظر الترسانات لكى يرسل المراكب الكبار والصغار والاخساب الى الاغا المومى اليه حسب انهائه وامر اخر الى محمد اغا خفتان اغاسى ناظر الجير والجبس ليرسل تلك الحجارة التى من صنف الدستور والبلاط والدبش والى تيمور اغا مأمور ثلث الشرقيه لكى يرتب هؤلاء الفعلة الذين قدرهم ماية وعشرون والى امين افندى ناظر الابنية لكى ينبه على شيخ العتاله ليرسل ستة عشر عتالا ويكشف هل تلك الاحجار والمهمات حسبما ذكر ام لا ثم ينهى خبرها الى المجلس العالى كما استقر الراى على ذلك فى اليوم الخامس والعشرين من شهر جمادى الاولى.
