Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart. Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1" We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements and notes. If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added in an attribute to a persName. "Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames. This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical Editions. 𐋢 𐋤 Arabic English Arabic transcribed according to ALA-LC Ottoman ١٢ ذى القعده ١٢٤٨٢ ابريل ١٨٣٣ نمرة ٥٠٢صفحة ٢ امير اللوا ادهم بيك ناظر المهمات الحربية عموما انهى ا المشورة الملكية انه وردت عليه خلاصة بان يذهب مع الافندى ناظر الابنية الى الورشة الكب الكائنه فى بولاق ليكشفا عن الساقية الثقيلة التى فيها وانه على موجبها سار مع امين افند افندي المومى اليه وفرنسزقو احد استوات دولاب التفنكخانة ولدى الكشف حضر الاستى فورسن النجار وبعد كلام طويل ادعى انه يدير الساقيه التى لا تدور بثمانية اثوار بست بغال و عاضه عارضه الاستى فرنسزقو وكانت المعارضه مانعة من اجراء ما امر وايه حيث ازف المساء وتاخر الشف وان تحاورهما هذا يقطع بمعرفة قنصلهما ولكن الاستى فورسنى هو الذى عمل الساقية وتهد بانه يديرها بست بغال هذا ما انهاه وحيث ان الاستى فورسنى جاء مجلس المشورة وذكر انه قد اكمل الساقية وطلب ان يعطى ست بغال لاجل تجربتها والنظر فيها وبعده يديرها لبقر البقر على الوجه القديم حرر اشعارا لى الاغا ناظر المواشى بان ياتى بست بغال على وجه العار من المحل الذى فيه البغال ويرسلهن الى الساقية المذكورة واذا استتب حضور كل من خيرته افندى ناظر البصمخانات وموسى افندى ناظر فبريقات البحر الغربى والخواجه جرجى المهندس حين دورانها وتجرابتها بذلك الى كل منهم.
