Rules of TEI XML MarkUp in This Project
We use the Arabic script but transliteration into Latin characters follows the Library of
Congress (LOC) Arabic transliteration chart.
Each individual article has an individual xml:id number starting with "w1"
We only use persName, orgName, placeName elements, apart from bibliographical elements
and notes.
If the location or organization of responsibility is known from the text, it can be added
in an attribute to a persName.
"Mashaykhah" and "thumn" are orgNames and placeNames.
This project's schema considers Till Grallert's work in his Open Arabic Periodical
Editions.

الحوادث الداخلية مما لا يخفى ان وقوع الحريق فى مصر المحروسة قليل وانه اذا ظهر يبادر الى
اطفائه من غير تاخير غير انه والعياذ بالله اذا وقع فى جهة بعيدة يخشى من سرايته وانتشاره الى
الاطراف قبل ان يصل الخبر الى الضابطخانه فستصوب ان يرتب سبع طلمبات زيادة على الاربع الموجودة فى الضابطخانة
رعاية للحزم والاحتياط وان يخصص مركزا لها سبعة اماكن من الباش
قرقولات الموجودة فى المحروسة وبولاق
ومصر العتيه لتوضع فيها حتى اذا وقع
حريق فى محل قريب منها يبادر الى اطفائه بالطلومبة الموجودة فى القرقول وان يعين لكل من هذه الطلومبات السبع التى يراد زيادتها
واحد من رجال الجهادية التسعة الكائنين بالضابطخانه الذين اكتسبوا المهارة فى صنعة الطلومبة
ويرقى الى رتبة الاونباشى وان ينصب من كان فائقا من الاستاذين اللذين فى الضابطخانة ملاحظا
عليهم بحيث اذا وقع نقص من هؤلاء المستجدين فى اجرآء الصنعة المذكورة يوقفهم عليه كما ينبغى
ويضم الى شهريته مقدار وافى واجرى العمل على الوجه المشروح كما استصوب.
